1241 Congress Street, A Great Place to Call Home
This is the first bedroom along. Each runs along the eastern side of the
house, the side alongeside the oldest house in Portland. Each is approximately
10 foot by 10 foot in size and each has a small closet.
The is the second bedroom, done in red when the picture was taken but now white. The picture
does not do justice to the 10 foot by 10 foot size. This
bedroom, like the first, has a door onto the dining room.
The is the third bedroom. Again, the picture does not do justice
to the roomy10 foot by 10 foot size. This
bedroom is accessed from the kitchen.
Finally a view from across Whitney toward the back porches. This is a
wonderful
house to live in, and we call it a HOUSE, and not an apartment, because we
expect the tenants and the landlords to respect each other's rights to a quiet
space. Basically, if we can hear your music or TV, or if you can hear ours, the music or tv is
too loud. This has not been a problem in the past, and if you wish, you may discuss
this matter with the current tenants and see how loud 1241 music or TV can go.
